In advance of the release of the new holiday album from Ian Foster and Nancy Hynes, “A Week in December,” we’re delighted to preview the title track from the album here on Great Dark Wonder.
This song, one of two originals on the album, beautifully captures the contradiction in feelings that traveling home (or what used to be home) for the holiday can bring – that mix of delight and dread, fancifulness and frustration, that we’ve all felt at one time or another.
The album comes out Friday (visit Ian Foster’s website for details) – this is definitely one to pick up for your seasonal enjoyment!
