Folk/trad group Les Tireux d’Roches will release a new album, “Tarmacadam,” on 24 November, with an album release event scheduled for 23 November at Le Ministère in Montréal.
Les Tireux d’Roches was originally formed in 1998 in Mauricie by original members Denis Massé and Dominic Lemieux. They have spent the last twenty years touring and sharing the wonders of traditional Québecois music around the world. Currently the band also includes David Robert, Pascal “Per” Veillette, and Luc Murphy.
The album, the group’s sixth, was inspired by the miles traveled by the group during their 20-year history, as well as the French and Canadian musical traditions from which they have long drawn.
In advance of their new project, the group has released a video for the song “Camarades.” Watch and enjoy below!
