Robot Hive, a Regina-based electropop group comprised of veterans of Saskatchewan’s music scene, are celebrating a banner Friday today: a new single, a new video, and a new website.
The group first gained notoriety with the 2013 release of their single V.E.R.O.N.I.C.A., but they have been working to refine their sound for some years now, choosing to appear together live only occasionally. Now, however, they believe they are ready to share their work with a wider audience, and have launched not only a new single (“Electric Heel”) with an accompanying live video, but also a new website to promote their music.
“Electric Heel” (which you can hear in the live video posted below) provides a great preview of Robot Hive’s work, a terrific crossover of indie rock-meets-electronica, reminiscent of Depeche Mode. We look forward to hearing more!
